Lin is operated by AI Joe Solutions. This document explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
What we collect
- Account details — Name and email, via our identity provider (Clerk). We may send you operational emails related to your account and the service (such as a welcome email on signup).
- LinkedIn connection — An OAuth token, stored in a per-customer security vault (OneCLI) used only to perform actions you've approved — we never see or store your LinkedIn password at any point.
- Content you provide — Writing samples (your "voice"), post ideas, and the text of drafts and scheduled posts.
- Text generated in the post builder — Even a draft that was generated but never saved is kept, along with the idea you entered, to improve writing quality and the "voice" logic. This data is accessible only to our operations team, never to other customers.
- Publish history — What was published, when, and the link to the real post on LinkedIn.
- Analytics — Only if you choose to upload a LinkedIn analytics export file yourself, we store the processed data from it to show you a dashboard. This is an action you take, not something we do automatically.
- Usage data — Token count and cost per request, used to enforce fair-use limits.
What we don't collect
We don't read your feed, contacts, messages, or any other LinkedIn information you haven't explicitly approved. We don't collect information about other LinkedIn users.
Who we share data with
- Anthropic (Claude) — Processes your writing samples and ideas to generate draft text.
- LinkedIn — Receives the text you approved for publishing, through its official API.
- Vercel and AWS — Host the website and the server that runs the service.
- Clerk — Manages the sign-in and authentication flow.
- Resend — Sends operational emails on our behalf (such as a welcome email on signup).
We do not sell information to third parties.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can delete all your data, disconnect LinkedIn, or permanently delete your account entirely — at any time, from the Settings page. Deleting your account deletes everything listed above and cannot be undone.
Cookies
We use authentication cookies (via Clerk) to keep you signed in, a cookie that remembers your chosen display language, and local browser storage (localStorage) to remember your display mode (light/dark) and accessibility preferences. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Minors
The service is not intended for users under the age of 18.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be posted here.
